Death of the Blog?

If you read Paul Boutin's article on Wired Magazine you might be thinking of ditching your blog (or wondering why we're still writing in the KeyContent blog!).

Boutin argues that blogging today isn't what it was just a few years ago. Among his arguments:
  • The blogosphere has been "flooded by a tsunami of paid bilge."
  • The "authentic voices" of the masses are drowned out by "cut-rate journalists and underground marketing."
  • Why blog when you can Flicker, Facebook or Twitter?
